The story follows Suzuki Seiji, a former corporate elite who lost his job and became a condominium manager. He discovers that his former rival, Shiromizu Masataka, who caused his downfall, now lives in the same building and is successful. Seiji's resentment grows when he learns that false rumors from Masataka led to his job loss, despite not initially harbouring hatred. Seiji is set on revenge, and his target is Masataka's timid wife, Shiromizu Kasumi. The story follows Seiji's relentless pursuit of vengeance and his relentless lies.
